Allen Rienstra is the Manager of Environmental Services for Trinity’s Nederland, Texas office. He graduated from Lamar University in 2010 and started his career in environmental consulting, focusing on water quality projects. As a native of Southeast Texas, he has more than 15 years of state and national environmental consulting experience, focusing his expertise on stormwater and wastewater permitting, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Phase I and II due diligence projects, water and soil remediation, and analytical testing. Additionally, he has executed long-term water quality studies, deploying monitoring data recorders in waterways, and utilizing Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ACDP) and bathymetric surveying instrumentation for wastewater modeling.

Natural resources expertise includes threatened and endangered species surveys, wetland evaluations, and cultural resources assessments.

His other areas of expertise include regulatory permitting with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and other state and national environmental agencies.
