Joe Cliett has 20 years of experience in the mining industry. He spent 12 years with M3 Engineering and Technology, an engineering consulting firm. At M3, Mr. Cliett served as designer, discipline lead, project manager, and piping department head. During his tenure with M3, he worked on major concentrator and SX/EW projects, including Buenavista del Cobre, Peñasquito, and Carlota Copper. He also spent four years with Oceana Gold as a member of the Capital Projects Group at the Haile Operation in South Carolina. At WestLand, now Trinity Consultants, he has managed hydraulic system projects for Freeport-McMoRan and South32 Hermosa. He now serves as Engineering Director for Trinity Consultants and is based in Tucson, AZ. His focus is hydraulic system design and project execution, with an emphasis on integrating new systems into operating mine sites.
