Lori has worked in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and consumer products industries, overseeing multimedia pollution prevention and control projects, regulatory compliance, and advocacy with EPA and trade associations. Lori also served as a regulator in the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and led the state’s Title V Program.

Lori has been closely involved with implementation of many aspects of the 1990 Amendments to the Clean Air Act since they were finalized. She prepared comments and developed multi-site compliance plans for Part 63 MACT Standards and General Provisions, Title V Part 70, Compliance Assurance Monitoring, and other requirements. As Wyoming’s Title V program manager, she assisted facilities statewide with applicability determinations and provided user-friendly comprehensive permits with clear language and balanced compliance assurance measures.

Lori has a thorough understanding of industry and agency viewpoints and priorities, as well as a detailed knowledge of Clean Air Act regulations and what it takes to comply with them on the ground. She earned a B.S. degree, with honors, in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
