As Principal Consultant, Mike leads Trinity’s consulting operations in Corpus Christi, Texas. He has assisted clients in Texas, California, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Mississippi with regulatory research, air dispersion modeling, and permit application preparation. Mike has performed Best Available Control Technology (BACT) analyses, emissions calculations, and evaluation of New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) requirements.
Additionally, he has prepared Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reports and has experience with SCREEN3, ISCST3, ISC-PRIME, AERMOD, and other U.S. EPA-approved air dispersion models. Using ISCST3, Mike has modeled clients? compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) Increments. He is an active participant in the implementation plan for AERMOD in the state of Texas. Mr. Meister has also taught Trinity?s Computer Dispersion Modeling Laboratory course and facilitated the development and delivery of custom modeling training in Colombia.
Mike earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University. His undergraduate and graduate employment experiences allowed him to deal directly with emerging air and water quality technologies.
