First Light Resort and Casino is a gaming and hospitality project that includes public gaming areas, meeting facilities, sportsbook functions, and back-of-house operations. The project required coordinated acoustical and audiovisual systems to support daily operations, guest experience, and clear communication across a range of program types.

Trinity Consultants Built Environment was selected to provide acoustical and audiovisual consulting services for the project, with a scope focused on background noise control, speech privacy, and integrated AV infrastructure throughout the facility.

Vision

The First Light Resort and Casino project required acoustic and audiovisual strategies that could support a wide range of uses within a single facility. Maintaining low background noise levels and protecting speech privacy were key performance drivers, particularly within gaming, meeting, and administrative areas. Audiovisual systems needed to provide consistent communication and media distribution across both public and operational spaces.

Partnership

Trinity Consultants Built Environment provided acoustical and audiovisual consulting services in coordination with the project team. The work included establishing acoustic design criteria and developing recommendations that informed architectural assemblies and system integration.

Services Performed

Trinity’s team delivered acoustic and audiovisual consulting services for the public and back-of-house facilities. Establishing clear communication and coordination with the project team allowed Trinity to design a system focused on background noise control and media distribution across both public and support spaces.

Value-Add

Acoustical services included the development of design criteria to control background noise levels and maintain speech privacy throughout the facility. Trinity Consultants Built Environment provided recommendations for floor slab construction, partition assemblies, and equipment room doors to support sound isolation and operational performance.

Audiovisual design services included background music and paging systems throughout the facility, CATV head-end design, and distribution across low-rise buildings with connectivity to CATV cabling serving the high-rise building. Additional AV scope included sportsbook audiovisual systems, information displays, meeting facility sound reinforcement, audio-video routing and patching, permanent video projection and control systems, broadcast infrastructure, business center AV, and back-of-house paging systems.

Working with Trinity allowed us to design exactly the space we wanted, while not compromising on our needs for confidentiality and flexibility. They made the process painless and considered every little detail.
