A major global hospitality brand partnered with Trinity Consultants to establish a standardized electrical design package for a new hotel in Miami. The goal was to deliver consistent, reliable power systems that meet brand standards and support guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Challenge

830 Brickell is the first new office tower to launch in Miami in a decade. The soaring 57-story tower introduces premium commercial real estate to the city’s booming financial district. Designed to promote the health and wellness of its inhabitants, amenities are unparalleled, as are the vistas of Downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Trinity Cerami is very proud to have been the IT, Security, AV, and Acoustic designers of this Wired Certified building. Miami has its own vibe, as does the Brickell, and it was our privilege to create the environment to match the architectural expression of the neighborhood.

Solutions

Being a Wired Certified building required Cerami to design so that all access points are connected for ubiquitous communication and resilience which adds demonstrable value to the property. WiredScore, the newest certification, makes 830 Brickell future-proof and offers tenants seamless digital connectivity, from an IT perspective. It sets the standard for communication. For example, the Zoom call will keep streaming on the elevator as you ride to the rooftop restaurant. Additionally, Cerami designed the security for 830 Brickell, with sophisticated connectivity at all entry points, including the eight-story parking garage wrapped in a dynamic Kinetic wall.

Services Performed

The team designed structured cabling pathways and backbone cabling, created a data center layout with robust power, cooling, and redundancy, and planned wireless infrastructure for strong tower-wide coverage. They coordinated design efforts with multiple teams under tight timelines to ensure seamless delivery.

Results

The project resulted in a future-ready office tower that offers tenants best-in-class IT connectivity and data center performance, helping attract top-tier businesses to downtown Miami. Achieving a WiredScore Certification means Cerami empowered 830 Brickell with a digitally connected and tech enabled building that offers unparalleled accommodation to the world’s leading companies.
