Revised deadline for Georgia EPD emissions inventory

On October 28, 2025, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) announced that the deadline for the calendar year (CY) 2025 emissions inventory would be due May 31, 2026. In prior years, the emissions inventory deadline was June 30. This effectively shortens the reporting window to 5 months from 6 months.

Trinity Consultants assists numerous facilities with emissions inventory reporting in Georgia each year. These reports continue to undergo increasing scrutiny by Georgia EPD and U.S. EPA. To learn how Trinity can assist in your facility's emissions inventory reporting, please reach out to the Atlanta Office.

Georgia - Specific Expertise

Key Service Specifics by State Regulation

Trinity staff bring extensive hands-on knowledge of Georgia environmental permitting and compliance.

We work with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) to obtain air quality permits authorizing the construction and operation of new facilities, modifications at existing facilities, and other process improvements. Our air permitting knowledge spans the Georgia State Improvement Plan (SIP) construction and operating permit, the federal Title V operating permit, and the federal New Source Review (NSR) construction permitting programs, and all of their nuances. Let us help you navigate the air quality permitting of your next project with ease.

We provide comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program implementation and compliance audits to ensure your facility is meeting the requirements of all applicable programs. This includes, but is not limited to, audits of the requirements under relevant air quality permits, stormwater permits, waste programs, and worker safety programs.

We’re here when you are evaluting potential site locations, including providing environmental due diligence support services. Let us help you choose with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, enhanced regulatory reviews, and risk evaluations as you finalize the location for your next project in Georgia.

We work with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) to obtain permits for water discharge. Let us guide you through these complex programs with our permitting and compliance services that cover process wastewater, stormwater, spill prevention, and response planning. We can assist with the permitting, sampling, monitoring, and reporting needed under these programs.

When you’re ready to move forward with a new capital project at your facility, let us streamline the process to obtain all necessary environmental permits and authorizations with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) and local municipalities. Experienced in a range of environmental support services, we can outline a permitting roadmap and prepare all necessary submittals so you can be ready to implement your project as soon as possible.

Whether it’s for the Georgia Toxic Air Pollutants (TAP) Impact Assessment or the federal New Source Review (NSR) permitting program requirements, allow us to handle the complexity of dispersion modeling for you. Our team of experienced air dispersion modelers regularly work in AERMOD and other EPA-approved modeling programs to work towards scenarios in compliance with the standards for ambient air.
