It's that time of year again… annual air emission inventory deadlines in New Mexico will be here before we know it.
All major sources (Title V and synthetic minor sources) that are located within Bernalillo County limits are required to submit their annual emission inventory using SLEIS (State & Local Emission Inventory System). Minor sources (authority to construct permits) and Air Quality Notifications within the county should submit their emission inventory using Google Forms. Emissions for sources in Bernalillo County will need to be uploaded and certified in SLEIS or Google forms in addition to the submission of a hard copy on paper or CD by March 15, 2019.
Title V major sources in New Mexico (excluding facilities located in Bernalillo County or on Tribal Lands) are required to submit emission reports to the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Air Quality Bureau (AQB). Emissions will need to be uploaded and certified in AEIR (Air Emission Inventory Reporting) tool) before midnight on April 1, 2019.
In addition, sources outside Bernalillo County must submit Excess Emission fee reports by March 1, 2019.
- Excess Emission Reports (EER) for Title V Facilities are due March 1, 2019.
- The Air Quality Bureau (AQB) will no longer be accepting EER via email.
- All EER must be submitted through AQB online system.
