Trinity Consultants (Trinity), a leading global Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) firm, is excited to release the latest advancements in our industry-leading refrigerant tracking tool, now known as CoolTracker365TM by Trinity Consultants. This powerful Microsoft Excel© based tool empowers clients to efficiently self-manage their recordkeeping and reporting obligations related to the 40 CFR 82 Subpart F regulatory requirements.
Designed for the most demanding circumstances, CoolTracker365TM provides comprehensive functionality that enables seamless compliance with the Subpart F leak repair requirements. These requirements extend to all appliances (i.e., independent circuits) containing a Class I (e.g., chlorofluorocarbon, CFC) or Class II (e.g., hydrochlorofluorocarbon, HCFC) refrigerant or blends containing a Class I or Class II refrigerant with a full charge ≥ 50 pounds, commonly referred to as large appliances. Notably, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is developing rules to encompass leak repair requirements for substitute refrigerants, such as hydrofluorocarbons (HFC).
Building upon the robust existing documentation capabilities of CoolTracker365TM, Trinity has introduced highly sought-after features to meet evolving market demands. The enhanced features include:
- Calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, utilizing global warming potential (GWP) factors for refrigeration activities. Users can conveniently select from multiple IPCC AR data sets, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Comprehensive documentation of general maintenance events for large refrigerant-containing appliances and repair and periodic inspection events.
- A comprehensive report spanning refrigerants and years, presenting actual GHG emissions across various areas of use, including installed capacity, repair activities, and recovery.
Trinity believes that these enhancements will prove instrumental in assisting clients to gain deeper insight into their GHG emissions from refrigerants.
Furthermore, this invaluable information can be effectively utilized to bolster their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) knowledge and reporting efforts.
“At Trinity Consultants, we continuously strive to develop innovative solutions that empower our clients to navigate complex regulatory landscapes with ease,” said Jennifer Markwardt, Managing Consultant at Trinity Consultants. “CoolTracker365TM is a testament to our commitment to providing cutting-edge tools that simplify compliance and drive sustainability initiatives.”
