Trinity Consultants (Trinity), a leading global Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) firm, is excited to release the latest updates to our industry-leading refrigerant tracking tool, known as CoolTracker365TM by Trinity Consultants. This powerful Microsoft Excel© based tool empowers clients to efficiently self-manage their recordkeeping and reporting obligations for refrigerant and HFC containing equipment (regulated under 40 CFR 82 Subpart F and 40 CFR 84, Subpart C).
Designed for the most demanding circumstances, CoolTracker365TM provides comprehensive functionality that enables seamless compliance with the Subpart F and Subpart C leak repair requirements. These requirements apply to all appliances (i.e., independent circuits) containing a Class I (e.g., chlorofluorocarbon, CFC) or Class II (e.g., hydrochlorofluorocarbon, HCFC) refrigerant or blends containing a Class I or Class II refrigerant with a full charge ≥ 50 pounds AND hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants and substitutes for HFCs having global warming potentials (GWP) > 53 with a full charge ≥ 15 pounds, commonly referred to as large appliances.
Building upon the robust existing documentation capabilities of CoolTracker365TM, Trinity has introduced highly sought-after features to meet evolving market demands. The enhanced features include:
- Regulatory delineation for appliances subject to the HFC Management Rule (40 CFR 84 Subpart C), including leak repair and inspection documentation
- Multi-site functionality for streamlined recordkeeping across locations
- Expanded refrigerant lists, including SNAP-approved substitutes
- Updated GWP reference data from 40 CFR 84
- Comprehensive reporting across refrigerants and years, detailing actual GHG emissions by installed capacity, repair activities, and recovery—sortable by site or enterprise-wide
