Vision Environment (VE) services extends to neighbouring New Zealand. VE has a dedicated office/workshop and separate equipment storage facility in Christchurch manned by our NZ resident staff. The facility serves as a base for multiple projects VE has undertaken in NZ over the last five years including the environmental water quality monitoring for New Zealand’s largest dredge project in Lyttelton Port of Christchurch. Our NZ branch specialises in:
- Supply and deployment of in-house custom designed all weather monitoring buoys for real time water quality monitoring (turbidity monitoring for resource consent compliance)
- Real time display of data on Client-specific dashboards updated every 15 min
- Expert water quality advice for consent applications for marine construction and dredging activities
- Addition of other monitoring parameters in real time including ADCP (currents speed and direction), wind and weather
- Manual water sampling for validation, and
- Interpretation and reporting of data at a high level
